The Digital Technology Consultancy (DiTC) Ltd is an organisation that provide research and capacity building services-built environment and climate change related areas including digital. The goal of DiTC is to foster development in the world especially in developing countries.

The Team

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Henry is a Chartered Engineer and a seasoned academic with research and teaching interests in Digital Construction Technologies. He has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics/Physics (The University of Buea, Cameroon), Dipl. Ing. in Civil Engineering ( École Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Yaoundé, Cameroun), MA in Monitoring & Evaluation (Africa Nazarene University, Kenya), PGCert(Distinction) in Teaching in Higher Education(Oxford Brookes University, UK), PhD in Construction IT(Oxford Brookes University, UK) and an HDR ( “Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches”) in Digital Construction Technology (Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France). Henry has conducted research and published extensively about the applications of digital technologies in construction. He has supervised to completion and currently supervising a number of PhD students working on construction project management, facilities management, BIM, Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence. Moreover, Henry has designed, implemented and delivered BIM courses to professionals, undergraduate and postgraduate students in many countries including the UK, India, Ecuador, Nigeria, Spain, France, Cameroon, Kenya, Ghana, UK, etc. Building on this international experience, Henry identified the business niche for building capacities of industry professionals, academics/researchers and students in the use of digital construction technologies including BIM in their projects. Hence, the birth of DiTC as a consulting and training provider in digital construction technologies!
Henry’s role in DiTC consists of providing a strategic overview of the business ensuring that digital construction technologies are at the forefront of a fast-evolving sector.

BIM Consultant & Trainer

Charlene is a student in the fifth year of Architecture in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics (ENSTP) Yaoundé (Cameroon) in partnership with the University of Padova (Italy). She is passionate about innovative practices which aim to leverage technology that adds value by transforming operational processes in the construction industry. In 2021, together with her peers she won the second prize of the first edition of the student BIM competition in Africa launched by BIM Harambee-Africa. In July 2022, she co-founded the non-profit association BIMUP Africa to raise awareness about BIM among students and professionals in Francophone Africa. In September 2022, Charlene led her school’s team, “ENSTP BIM Team” that won the EU BIM for building renovation 2022, an international competition launched by the European platform BIMSPEED. She has worked as a volunteer for the Architecture and Civil Engineering club of ENSTP as a Revit Architecture trainer. Currently, she is a consultant and trainer at BIM Monitoring and Evaluation Services (BIM.MES Ltd).

In DiTC, Charlene will be one of the main Revit Architecture Trainer.

BIM Consultant & Trainer

Idriss is a Civil Engineer with a passion for digital construction technologies. He is a Co- Founder of BIMUP Africa, an association which aims to promote the use of BIM and related technologies in the construction sector in Francophone Africa.  Currently, Idriss is enrolled in the European BIM Master program BIM A+. He was a member of the team that won two BIM competitions in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The first was the EU BIM for Building Renovation competition launched by BIM Speed, and the second was the BIMhareembeeAfrica competition launched by BIM.Africa and BIM CommunityAfrica. Idriss has been a lead BIM trainer in one of the leading BIM Training firms in Africa. Idriss has great experience in the teaching of Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, Navisworks Autodesk Docs and BIM collaborate. He has participated in the implementation of BIM on many construction projects, where he developed file federation strategies, worked on structural modeling, and created customs families, labels, and tags required for the documentation of the project.

In DiTC, Idriss will be one of the main BIM trainers will facilitate the Revit Structure and Revit MEP.

BIM Consultant & Trainer

Zineb is an Architect who graduated from the National School of Architecture in Morocco, with an interest in the BIM methodology for several years. She holds a specialized Master's in BIM and Management from Oxford Brookes University in England, certified BIM-Foundation Basic from BuildingSmart International, and also Autodesk Professional Certification for Revit Architecture. Zineb is a member of BuildingSmart Morocco and Women in BIM international. Besides practicing her profession as an Architect in Morocco, Zineb is a part-time teacher in some architectural schools in Morocco "National School of Architecture in Rabat, International University of Rabat, and School of Architecture of Casablanca" where she teaches introductory modules of BIM and the Revit tool. Zineb is also the Co-founder of Digital Technology Consultancy (DiTC), an international provider of consulting and training services related to digital technologies in construction.

In DiTC, Zineb will be one of the main BIM trainers will be involved with the design and delivery of many aspects of BIM. She will also lead as an ambassador for raising awareness of BIM amongst females in Africa.

 

Khalid is an accomplished BIM professional with a profound passion for Game Engines, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Digital Twins. As a BIM consultant, he has contributed to some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Middle East, honing expertise in BIM standards, design modelling, cross-trade coordination, project management, software development, training, mentoring and project support. Khalid has an M.Sc. with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University. He is currently doing a PhD in University College London about the integration between Augmented Reality and Digital Twins, where he works as a research associate. He is also a post-graduate teacher assistant at University College London, where he is involved in the teaching of connected environments and digital twins. Khalid is an Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) and an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI).

In DiTC, Khalid will be one of the main BIM trainers on Digital Twins,  Augmented and  Virtuality Reality courses.
